I made it from Jersey, through Pennsylvania(where Scotland is apparently located, which was a surprise to me) into Maryland for about fifteen minutes, then through West Virginia and finally to where I am at the moment in Virginia. I think I'm in the Shenandoah Valley, but then again every other sign for the last two hours has said Shenandoah something-or-other, so who can say?
I've been assured that this area is very beautiful, but can't vouch for that myself yet as it's pretty dark out. I'll have to take a look around tomorrow once the sun comes out.
The link for the first blog entry only went out to Facebook today, but I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words. I can't respond while I'm driving, but they mean a lot.
I only made it about five hours today due to my late start, but tomorrow should be a pretty full day of driving.
This journey is going to be tough, really tough, but hopefully it'll also end up being worth it. :)

(Domo is coming along for this particular road trip)
Please keep us updated on your new life Jersey :)
